Dan Rupa practising yoga in a park

Dan Rupa

Dan Rupa developed an interest in spirituality through socio-ecological research for wildlife conservation projects with Indigenous communities in the Amazon and Orinoco regions in Colombia. Later studies and research in India deepened his connection with yoga, meditation, Vedic astrology and the Bhakti tradition, which he has practised for over 10 years.

He is a certified yoga instructor, with training undertaken in India, Colombia and Australia, as well as a certified Vedic Astrologer (Jyotish Rahasya). Alongside these practices, he brings a professional and academic background in Community Development, Social Work, Ecology and Communication for Social Change, holding two master's degrees and a PhD. His work has consistently centred on people, communities and the conditions that help individuals connect and grow together.

This combination of professional experience and spiritual practices inspired him to found SuperSoul Yoga Community, a space created to make yoga and practical spirituality accessible while giving people an opportunity to build meaningful friendships, develop a sense of community, and grow together.

Katalin Kalotai in a yoga pose

Katalin Kalotai

Katalin is trained in Yin, Hatha and Vinyasa yoga. She has a particular interest in pranayama, meditation, the chakras and meridian theory, and weaves these elements throughout her classes to encourage deeper awareness and inner connection.

Alongside her yoga training, Katalin has a background in Neuroscience and works as a Registered Nurse in Emergency Medicine. She brings this experience into her teaching through an understanding of the nervous system, physical alignment and trauma-informed language, creating a supportive environment where students can explore their yoga practice with choice, safety and compassion.

Her approach is inspired by the meaning of the word yoga itself, “to yoke” or “to unite”, bringing together the mind, body and breath on the mat. She values the community that yoga brings and loves the opportunity to connect with others after each class.
